gwBBCode?
(Sorry if this isn't the right place.)
Okay, I'm in the process of setting up a small forum for my guild used to share builds and the like. The problem is, I'm new to modification on forums. So I need someone to set up gwBBCode on my forum. Please either respond here or in a message. I will talk with you and eventually arrange you as a temporary administrator on the forum so you can then install the gwBBCode. Thanks alot.

gwBBcode is really easy to install if you just follow the instructions that come in the zip. What kind of forum software are you using?

I'm using PunBB, and I actually just tried downloading the zip and when I went to extract the files it said that the zip folder was empty, so I've run into a hole. Would be simpler just to have someone else do it for me.

If you haven't read the tutorial on gwshack, that might help.

Best place to ask is gwshack, theres quite a few posts on there regarding diff forums and setting up/problems.
Liu the site owner and gwbbcode creater is always helpfull and will offer help/advice - sometimes takes a few days for help but he is often busy in real life but in general other members will offer help and advice as well.
The site and members have helped me in the past with queries .

All you do is upload the contents of the zip to your forums directory and then run the install.php. There's nothing to get lost about really.

Okay, this will sound stupid but on my PunBB forum what is my 'forum directory' and where do I find it? Through the administration panel?

The forum directory is accessed with an FTP client like filezilla. You should have some sort of details for it alongside your domain name.
(Afterthought)did you install punbb yourself?

No, I just used a free site to set up a freely hosted PunBB forum, since it is nothing big I didn't want to go through the learning process and pain of handling all that. So will I still be able to do any of this?
